The Lounge at Severance

Make the Lounge at Severance part of your concert tradition. Located on the first floor and featuring the Suzanne and Paul Westlake Terrace Room, the Lounge offers a welcoming setting to meet friends, enjoy a meal, or relax over a drink.
The Lounge opens two hours before each Cleveland Orchestra performance, with cocktails, wine by the glass or bottle, and pre-concert grazing.
No reservations required.
Chef's Grazing Table
Enjoy a delicious selection of specialty flatbreads, charcuterie, hummus, rotating seasonal offerings, and desserts. Our Chef’s Grazing Table offers an easy, relaxed way to dine before the performance, with a variety of flavors to enjoy at your own pace.
$24 per person
Available from two hours before the performance until 20 minutes before the concert begins.
Sweet Encore
Let the evening linger
Skip the rush and join us in the Lounge at Severance after the concert for Sweet Encore. Enjoy desserts from Cleveland’s Last Bite, coffee, and after-dinner drink specials while you unwind, visit with friends, and let the post-concert traffic ease.
You might even find yourself sharing the evening with a Cleveland Orchestra musician.
Open immediately following the performance for up to 90 minutes.

Afternoon Tea at Severance
A new afternoon tradition
New this season, Afternoon Tea offers a relaxed and elegant way to gather and enjoy Severance before the music begins. Settle into the Lounge and the Suzanne and Paul Westlake Terrace Room for a selection of savory bites, scones, petite sweets, and tea.
Join friends for an afternoon out, celebrate a special occasion, or make tea part of your Sunday concert experience.
Traditional Tea: $58 per platter, serving one to two guests.
A Children’s Tea option is also available.
Offered on select Sundays. Purchase tickets in advance through our website or the Ticket Office. Walk-up availability may be offered as space permits.
A concert ticket is not required to attend Afternoon Tea.
Wine Tastings
Discover something new before the music
Explore new wines and enjoy time with fellow music lovers at a wine tasting in the Lounge at Severance. Offered on select dates throughout the season, these special gatherings bring another dimension to your concert visit.
Wine tastings require a separate ticket. Visit the event listing for featured wines, pricing, times, and details.
Concessions & Bars
A convenient stop before the concert and at intermission
Enjoy cocktails, wine, beer, nonalcoholic beverages, and snacks at concessions locations throughout Severance Music Center. Look for specialty cocktails featured throughout the season.
Smith Lobby
Opens 90 minutes before the performance, with service also available at select intermissions (based on attendance).
Upper Lobbies (Grand Foyer, Box, DC/B)
Open 45 minutes before the performance and during intermission.
Donor Lounges
Hospitality that celebrates your support
Eligible supporters of The Cleveland Orchestra enjoy access to dedicated donor lounges, offering welcoming spaces to gather before the performance and during intermission.
The Lotus Club
Opens 90 minutes before most Cleveland Orchestra performances and during intermission
Located on the Orchestra Level, the Lotus Club offers comfortable seating, patio access, private restrooms, and beverages and snacks available for purchase.
Access is available to eligible donors.
The Frank Hadley Ginn Suite
Pre-concert and intermission service, based on giving level
Enjoy the historic setting of the Frank Hadley Ginn Suite on the Box Level, with hospitality available according to your donor benefits.
Eligible guests can enjoy pre-concert beverages and light refreshments, followed by cookies, coffee, and beverage service at intermission.

Do I need a reservation for the Lounge?
No reservations are required for regular Lounge service or Sweet Encore. Afternoon Tea and wine tastings are separately ticketed experiences.
How early should I arrive for pre-concert dining?
The Lounge opens two hours before Cleveland Orchestra performances. Arrive early to enjoy the Chef’s Grazing Table, which is available until 20 minutes before the concert begins.
Can I visit for Afternoon Tea without attending the concert?
Yes. Afternoon Tea is separately ticketed, and a concert ticket is not required.
Where can I find current menus?
Menus are subject to seasonal change. Afternoon Tea and wine tasting details are available in their individual event listings.
